Rosalia Argueta

Director, Utila

My name is Rosalia Argueta. I was born in Tela, but since I was five years old I have had the privilege of growing up in the beautiful island of Utila. I have a degree in Ecotourism, graduated from UNAH-CURLA. Throughout my professional career, I have worked with various non-governmental organizations and local government, actively dedicating myself to the conservation of the marine-coastal environment. I have collaborated in projects focused on sustainable fisheries management, mangrove protection, environmental education and the promotion of sustainable practices among fishermen and the community in general. I hope to continue to develop professionally and grow within BICA.
