Sea turtles have called Utila’s beaches home for generations. But today, their survival is threatened by pollution, habitat destruction, and poaching. We're launching a vital fundraising campaign throughout the nesting season to support ongoing protection efforts and ensure a safe future for these ancient mariners.

Pay salaries for our dedicated sea turtle program coordinator and coastal/marine rangers

Create a new hatchery for sea turtles

Continue night patrols on Pumpkin Hill and expand to new beaches (Airport, Turtle Harbour, Carey Bay, Rock Harbour)

Host 4 Turtle Youth Camps, engaging local kids in environmental education and conservation action

Secure 30 adopted nests, contributing to equipment, salaries, and protection efforts

Provide training for legal entities and local authorities to improve the enforcement of conservation laws.
