Mrs. Juby Stewart Home
CRAWFISH ROCK FIRE
On November 18, 2024 in the community of Crawfish Rock, the home of Mrs. Juby Stewart caught on fire due to an electrical problem and completely burned down. The family of seven (4 adults and 3 kids) lost their home and possessions, fortunately no lives were lost. All of the adults were at work and because the fire started internally and moved quickly through the home neither the community members or firefighters (30 minutes away) were able to put out the fire in time.
Currently, the patronato is supporting Mrs. Juby Stewart in receiving help from anyone that is interested in providing any type of assistance. The most immediate needs are materials to rebuild their home. We have a preliminary estimate of $15,000.00 to purchase materials to rebuild the home and household furnishings.
